As professional hunters, we needed an all-in-one gear hoist, capable of doing more than retracting a ribbon or cheap cotton line. We needed a product that can keep Teufelberger's Dynaglide free from getting tangled and burning our hands when under load.
BARKSPYDER is the first gear hoist to incorporate a custom designed, ASA-carbon fiber, clam-shell handle that attaches to a graphite reel, allowing for the hunter to utilize the drag system to control the speed at which their gear is lowered.
Silent, sturdy, light weight and deadly is what we brought to the modern hunter... and so evolved BARKSPYDER.
Darwin's bark spider (Caerostris darwini) is an orb-weaver spider that produces the largest known orb webs, ranging from 900 to 28,000 square centimetres (140 to 4,340 sq in),[2][3] with bridge lines spanning up to 25 metres (82 ft). Crooked Hoof is the only tether locker with a built-in finger depression that incorporates the shape of the hoof found on the ungulates that we pursue.
