About BARKSPYDER
Our Story
As professional hunters, we needed an all-in-one gear hoist, bow hoist and hunting hoist capable of doing more than retracting a ribbon. We needed a product that can keep Dynaglide from getting tangled and burning our hands when under load. BARKSPYDER is the first hunting hoist to incorporated a graphite reel with a plastic horn-shaped handle and a silent drag system to control the speed of lowering your gear, as well as, locking the drag to pull down rappelling lines. Silent, sturdy, light weight and deadly is what we brought to the modern hunter... and so evolved BARKSPYDER.
Darwin's bark spider (Caerostris darwini)
Darwin's bark spider (Caerostris darwini) is an orb-weaver spider that produces the largest known orb webs, ranging from 900 to 28,000 square centimetres (140 to 4,340 sq in),[2][3] with bridge lines spanning up to 25 metres (82 ft). The spider was discovered in Madagascar in the Andasibe-Mantadia National Park in 2009.[4] Its silk is the toughest biological material ever studied.
